TPC San Francisco Bay—the west coast gem.

Named by Travel + Leisure Golf “One of the Best New Golf Courses for 2007,” TPC San Francisco Bay’s par-72, 7,200-yard layout was designed by world renowned Scottish golf course architect David McLay Kidd to blend harmoniously with its unspoiled surroundings on Walpert Ridge more than 1,500 feet above the East Bay. Designer of such notable courses as Bandon Dunes in Oregon and the Castle Course at St. Andrews, Kidd took full advantage of the topography’s sweeping panoramic vistas, rolling grasslands, wind-twisted oaks and lichen-glazed outcroppings to create a stunning test of golf reminiscent of the grand links-style courses of Scotland.

TPC San Francisco Bay will host the future stars of the PGA TOUR during the Nationwide Tour’s Stonebrae Classic March 30th - April 5, 2009.

TPC Tampa Bay features a masterfully designed Bobby Weed and Chi Chi Rodriguez 18-hole championship golf course routed around natural wetlands, cypress heads and numerous ponds and lagoons.  The Club was recently named the #18 best Public Course in the country by GolfWorld Magazine’s 2009 Reader’s Choice Awards. Next month, TPC Tampa Bay will be host to the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am, April 11th-19th.

Nine TPCs named to Golf World’s “100 Best Golf Shops” list for 2009

Nine of the PGA TOUR’s TPCs have been recognized for their outstanding retail operations by Golf World magazine.  Included in the publication’s list of the “100 Best Golf Shops for 2009,” Private Club category, are TPC Boston in Norton, MA; TPC Jasna Polana in Princeton, NJ; TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, CT; TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth, GA; and TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas, NV.  TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL was also named in the Resort category, while TPC Deere Run in Silvis, IL, TPC Las Vegas and TPC Scottsdale were honored in the Public/Daily Fee category.
